Hub 2 manages all Ajax devices in the system to alert users to open doors, broken windows, fire and flood threats. If your home is broken into by burglars, the Hub 2 transmits pictures from the MotionCam detectors and notifies the alarm reception center of the danger. You don't need to live under constant surveillance by security cameras to know what's going on.

Photo verification of alarms in 9 seconds

Hub 2 works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. When activated, they take a series of pictures, helping to assess events in an installation. Visual verification helps instantly determine the situation, saving users worry and security companies from sending out unnecessary patrols.

Always on - over cable and cellular networks

Communication with the outside world is essential for the security system control panel. Its reliability and stability ensure the timely transmission of alarms to the alarm reception center and users.

Hub 2 can be simultaneously connected to three Internet operators - via Ethernet cable and 2G cellular networks. Automatic switching between channels takes seconds.

Guaranteed transmission of alarms and visual verification of alarms

To ensure reliable communications, Ajax has equipped the ReX 2 (compatible repeater) with four antennas and compatibility with two exclusive radio protocols:

• Jeweler : responsible for transmitting commands, events and alarms;
• Wings: transmits the images in batch.

Ajax two-way radio communication uses time frames to synchronize device communication sessions, authentication to prevent fraud, and encryption to protect against data theft.

Focused on flexibility

The Hub 2's radio network covers several floors and separate buildings - thanks to the communication range of 2000 meters and the ability to connect five repeaters. In order to manage accesses and security zones of the installations, the hub allows connecting 50 users and creating 9 security groups. The Hub 2 is the perfect choice for home and business security.

Controlled with apps

Ajax has avoided placing control buttons on the control panel shell and archaic interfaces - apps are more convenient and reliable. Mobile applications connect to the hub via a secure channel through the Ajax Cloud server, which is located in various AWS data centers. Server availability in 2021 was 99.995%.

The apps allow system users with administrator rights to manage the security of the installations, change the hub settings and the devices connected to it, create scenarios and monitor events. Available from a smartphone or a PC , wherever you are.

Automates security

Hub 2 allows you to create 32 scenarios and minimize the impact of the human factor on security. The hub can:

• Arm and disarm the premises or a group, through scheduled times;
• Instantly activate a smoke machine if someone enters the premises;
• Cut off power to the premises and turn on emergency lighting in case of fire;
• Cut off the water in case of leakage;
• Control lighting, electric locks, shutters and garage doors;
• Among other options, through the arming/disarming action, pressing the button or with a detector alarm.

The alarm receiver and users are notified of everything that happens with the Hub 2. No one can unnoticed turn off the hub when the premises are disarmed. If an intruder tries to dismantle the device, the tamper immediately triggers. Ajax Cloud server can notify about loss of connection with hub within 60 seconds due to frequent query. Even if the building is without power, the hub protects the object for a maximum of 16 hours with a built-in backup battery.

Prepared for the future

The Hub 2 runs OS Malevich, a real-time operating system developed by Ajax Systems. OS Malevich is extremely stable, immune to viruses and protected against cyberattacks.

The hub receives new functionality several times a year with automatic updates. The update process is automatic and takes just a few minutes with the security system disarmed. The hardware configuration allows the Hub 2 to evolve and remain relevant for years to come.

Easy security system upgrade

To simplify upgrading hubs on premises, Ajax has provided the ability to transfer data between hubs automatically. The import feature allows you to transfer settings, connected devices, groups, scenarios and users from the old hub to Hub 2. In less than 15 minutes.

Hassle free installation

Hub 2 is ready to go right after installation. All communication modules, power supply and backup battery are already installed. To start configuring the system, you need to connect the device to the power supply and the Internet, insert the SIM cards and scan the QR code via the app. With the SmartBracket mounting panel, there is no need to disassemble the device enclosure during installation.

All system settings are available in the Ajax apps at any time: connecting security devices, video cameras, users, testing the radio signal, creating groups and scenarios, and even sending a connection request to the alarm receiving center. Whether you're on site or not.
