ReX 2 works with MotionCam and MotionCam Outdoor motion detectors. When activated, they take a series of animated photographs, helping to assess the situation in the facilities. This reduces unnecessary patrol dispatches and gives customers peace of mind.

Radio communication through steel and concrete

With the OS Malevich 2.13 operating system update, the ReX 2 repeater will connect to the hub not only via radio but also via Ethernet using the cable as the only or additional communication channel. A single Ajax system can cover a facility such as an office center with underground parking; a metal hangar with several sections or a warehouse complex composed of several large buildings.

The ReX 2 works as an additional smart control panel: it connects devices in a self-contained group and takes control at the right time. Thanks to automatic signal strength adjustment, and frame synchronization, any number of devices can be connected to the ReX 2 — communication reliability will not be affected. If, for whatever reason, radio communication with the hub is interrupted, ReX 2 will continue to function via Ethernet. If an Ethernet link is lost, the ReX 2 receives an alarm from a detector and activates a siren to draw attention to the incident and deter the thief.

Ready to resist attacks from intruders

ReX 2 is protected from both software and hardware attacks. It works on OS Malevich operating system, which is immune to viruses. All data transmitted by the repeater is encrypted. Thanks to the built-in backup battery, a sudden power failure in an installation will not be a problem.
